    The best portfolio I’ve ever seen was Daver Werner’s portfolio at Okaydave(dot)com. It’s a portfolio that was built while in school using fictitious projects. For example, he redesigned the site for Wachovia and other big companies, but they were all fake. Non paying customers. But his portfolio showed what he could do. Amazing work. You can take that route. BTW, the market is huge for multimedia, not that many experts in that area.

    I’m taking multimedia design in school. All my professors say it’s the right way to go, because it gives me more options later on. My question is where do I start work to build a portfolio. Cause right now only things I have is for school. I would assume* that I would need to find a job to start that, but you can’t find a job without it either. Even some entry level positions need a portfolio.

    The little work I have done I have showed to friends for feedback, but of course they don’t always tell the truth and not much help on what to change. I may send you an email when I get some sites done up to see what you’d change. :)
    Did email you about a question though, think it would be easier to answer in an email.
