    you can desaturate the image, making it black and white better to work in black and white

    In your video the picture you picked was a black and white drawing picture. later you said, a good filter for the image is a cut out.
    What about for a color regular picture? What filter do you think it will be better?

    Did you mean recommend a good design program to start with? If so, I would choose Photoshop. It has a lot to offer, including the pen tool (found in Illustrator), web design (slicing an image for dreamweaver), 3D capabilites, and Animation!!
